Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-24 with support needs. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists, sex offenders, intravenous drug users and people with a "long standing" history of violence.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Many referrals come from Inspira, Youth Offending Teams, Social Services and Carlisle City Council Homelessness Department.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Application form and risk assessment completed by referring agency and applicant. Interview. Require proof of ID and background information including any history of offending behaviour.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 2 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
2 full time and 1 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system (2-3 residents per keyworker) with meetings held weekly or more often if required. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed either weekly or monthly. Staff offer support around emotional wellbeing, daily living skills including budgeting and cooking, employment, training and linking in with specialist welfare agencies.

House rules and tenure
No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Licence agreement.
1 per resident from 5pm-11pm. Overnight guests with staff permission.
Carlisle train station - 10 minutes walk. Carlisle bus station - 10 minutes walk.
