Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with support needs, people with mental health issues, ex-offenders and other vulnerable adults. Priority given to those with a local connection to South Lakeland District Council area.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists. People with a history of serious violence. Applicants are risk assessed and must have had a six-month "period of stability". Sex offenders not accepted because of proximity of local school.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept referrals from any agency which will be uploaded onto the Cumbria County Council Supporting People portal for providers.. Will accept referrals direct from prison
Referral procedure
Referral form, all forms must be signed by a professional. Interview. Risk assessment. Require ID.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 24 weeks
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
Support offered
2 full time staff, based on-site Mon-Fri 9am-7pm, Sat & Sun 10am-1pm. Operate a key work system with compulsory support meetings each week. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed regularly. Staff offer general emotional support and signposting.

Flats £15.23 and bedsits £16.12 includes gas, electric and water.

- Disabled facilities: Ground floor flats may be suitable for those with limited mobility but vacancies are rare.
- Other facilities: Shared kitchen for residents in bedsits. Communal coffee area for people in flats.

Must engage in programme of support. No alcohol in communal areas. Smoking in own rooms only. Licence agreements
Visitors
9am-11pm in resident's flat only. Must be accompanied. No overnight guests.
