Harrogate Homeless Project - Hostels for Homeless Households
Housing Needs, Civic Centre
St Lukes Avenue
Harrogate Borough Council
Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Households to whom Harrogate Borough Council has a statutory duty of care, as per current legislation (Homeless Reduction Act). HBC may offer the provision of interim accommodation where a household is homeless & believed to be in priority need. The provision of accommodation would continue until enquiries & confirmation of any priority are complete. Accommodation can be provided for all household types. Where a household has a pet we have limitations in-terms of accommodation appropriate to accommodate, however we signpost to agencies who can offer these services. Accommodation is provided for those with drug, alcohol & mental health issues & in these instances we would enlist the assistance of specific support agencies.
