Who do we help?
Single homeless people, including rough sleepers, who have drug and/or alcohol problems and a local connection to Southend, and who have a strong desire for help and support in dealing with their problems.

No automatic exclusions.

How to get a referral
Only accept referrals to Access Gateway Panel from specialist treatment agencies (STARS) Probation, PPO Team and Inside/Out Team.

Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 18 months
Support and accommodation
4 full time staff, available Mon-Sun 9am-5pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system with meetings at least weekly. Action plan with agreed outcomes, reviewed regularly. Staff provide support around living skills, meaningful occupation, and accessing training and treatment services.

£18pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

House rules and tenure
No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking in own rooms only. Licence agreement.
Only allowed by arrangement with manager and if visitor is already known to staff.
Westcliff on Sea train station - 5 minutes walk.
