Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless women with complex needs. Priority given to women with a local connection to Tameside. The 15 supported beds must have a Tameside connection but the other 33 non-supported are available to anyone who meets the criteria.

Who we cannot help

No automatic exclusions except for arson or those requiring accommodation with 24 hour cover.

Interview. May move in immediately if vacancy.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 3 months
  • Maximum stay: 6 months

Support and accommodation

Support offered

4 full time staff, available Mon-Fri 9am-8pm, limited weekend cover, emergency on-call system. Compulsory keyworker system. Provide advice on budgeting, benefits, living skills and rehousing. Refer to specialist agencies for counselling and local independent life skills course.

£12.63pw required from residents receiving benefits.

House rules and tenure

Must attend keywork sessions. Smoking only allowed in own rooms and outside the building. Assured shorthold tenancy.


Women only, 9am-8pm. No overnight guests.
