Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless women aged 16-52 in need of support, including those leaving local authority care and those escaping from domestic violence. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
Those convicted of arson, sex offenders or with a history of violence.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals or referrals from any agency. Many referrals come from Probation Service, Social Services, Connexions, schools and colleges, and housing advice centres.
Phone or call in 8am-8pm daily. Application form and interview. Prefer to meet with Probation Officers and social workers wherever possible. Require 2 references and history of accommodation for last 5 years.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
6 full time, 1 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. key worker system with weekly meetings. Staff provide help with accessing training, employment, health care and welfare rights advice.

- Disabled facilities: 1 flat is fully accessible to wheelchair users with wide doorways, wet room, low level appliances.
- Other facilities: TV lounge, IT training room, training kitchen, courtyard and gardens.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. Alcohol allowed on premises for over 18s. Smoking allowed in own rooms and garden only. Excluded licence agreement.
2 at a time between 10am-11pm. 1 overnight guest with staff permission. Approved visitor list.
St Helens train station and main bus terminus - 10 minutes walk.
