Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless women with complex needs. Priority given to women with a local connection to Tameside. The 15 supported beds must have a Tameside connection but the other 33 non-supported are available to anyone who meets the criteria.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions except for arson or those requiring accommodation with 24 hour cover.

- Maximum age accepted: 75
How to get a referral
All referrals from Tameside Housing Advice.
Interview. May move in immediately if vacancy.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 6 months
Support and accommodation
4 full time staff, available Mon-Fri 9am-8pm, limited weekend cover, emergency on-call system. Compulsory key worker system. Provide advice on budgeting, benefits, living skills and rehousing. Refer to specialist agencies for counselling and local independent life skills course.
Rooms and charges
£12.63pw required from residents receiving benefits.

- Furnishings: Rooms fully furnished, with washbasins, cookers and fridges.

- Disabled facilities: One flat is accessible to wheelchair users.
- Other facilities: Lounge, garden.

House rules and tenure
Must attend keywork sessions. Smoking only allowed in own rooms and outside the building. Assured shorthold tenancy.
Women only, 9am-8pm. No overnight guests.
Buses 218, 219, 232, 234, 236, 237. Train station - 5 minutes walk.
