Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Vulnerable young people, primarily young people at risk, women who are pregnant or who have children, and ex-offenders.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Many referrals come from Selby District Council.
Phone or email for form. Application form completed prior to interview. Needs and risk assessment. Require as much relevant background information as possible.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
Staff based at Community House visit residents on a weekly basis or as needed. Emergency on-call system. Keywork system with weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed at least every 3 months. Support is geared towards preparing residents for confident, independent living, liaising with outside agencies where appropriate.
