Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Vulnerable young people aged 16-20 with chaotic support needs, primarily those aged 16-17. Applicants must have a local connection to York.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Agency referrals only. Do not accept self referrals. Many referrals come from City of York Council, Social Services and the Youth Offending Team.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or write. Application form. Interview. Risk assessment. Require as much information as possible relating to support needs.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
3 full time staff, sleep-in cover. Keywork system. Action plans with agreed outcomes. Nature of support depends on needs of resident, but with overall aim of moving young person towards independent living, adopting a multi-agency approach.

£9.40pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

House rules and tenure
Written house rules. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Assured shorthold tenancy.
Family and professional staff by prior arrangement only.
Train station - 10 minutes walk.
