Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single homeless people aged 16-25 with low to medium support needs around independent living skills. Can accept those with low mental health problems and ex-offenders. Will also accept teenage parents, both singles and couples. Must have a local connection to LB Lambeth.

Who we cannot help

People unable to address current alcohol or drug dependency. Arsonists, sex offenders and those with a known history of violence.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept agency referrals via LB Lambeth Support Needs Assessment and Placement Team only.

Referral procedure

Application form completed by prospective resident prior to interview. Require as much background information as possible about support needs. Require proof of ID.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 6 months
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

13 full time staff, available 8.30am-9.30pm, concierge at night. Keywork system (10 residents per key worker), with regular meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 3 months, cover independent living skills, education, training, employment and move-on. Signposting to local services. Access to translation services.

£7.83-£12.90pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies

House rules and tenure

Must attend keywork meetings and engage with action plan. No alcohol on the premises. Smoking restricted to room or garden. Licence agreement.


Between 9am-9pm. No overnight guests apart from Teenage Parent Unit where the partner can stay.
