Who do we help?
Vulnerable women with or without children, with support needs. Priority given to those with a local connection to Middlesbrough.
Who we cannot help
Schedule 1 offenders, women with substance misuse issues who are still using drugs or have used within the last 8 weeks.

How to get a referral
Accept referrals from any statutory agency. Applicants over 18 should attend local authority Homeless Advice Service.
Contact Mon-Fri 9am-4.30pm to confirm applicant's eligibility. Referral form and risk assessment. Interview. Needs assessment.
Length of stay
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
2 full time and 2 part time staff, night security cover. Compulsory keywork system (2-3 residents per keyworker) with meetings held weekly. Staff provide support around tenancy management, budgeting, shopping on a low income, confidence building, accessing training or voluntary work and liaison with specialist welfare and community services.

£10.22pw required from residents receiving benefits.

House rules and tenure
Alcohol and smoking not allowed in communal areas. Assured shorthold tenancy.
Overnight guests must be booked in advance and have proof of ID.
Middlesbrough train station - 10 minutes walk.
Currently have 1 volunteer. welcome assistance with tenant activities, allotment, art group, coffee afternoons, fundraising. Phone 01624 266280/84 for further information.
