Who do we help?
Single homeless people with support needs. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists, sex offenders or people with a history of violence. People with medium/high support needs.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Referrals come from agencies throughout the UK.
Complete application form on the website and send back via e-mail/post. Alternatively fill in the referral form on the Emmaus UK website. Applicant will be contacted via phone upon receipt of application to complete a risk assessment. Applicant may then be invited up for a trial day if EVC believes they may be able to meet their needs.

Support and accommodation
4 members of support team, working Mon-Sunday during working hours. Emergency on-call system. Key Worker assigned upon entry and 6 weekly Personal Development Plans are held with agreed targets. Residents volunteer full time in Communities Social Enterprise.

Rules and policies
Local bus routes to Bedford and Rushden – bus station is approximately 15 minutes walk from Emmaus.
Currently have 45 volunteers. Help with shops, warehouse, van driving, bistro, and organising evening activities. BarbaraFitzgerald@emmausvc.org
