Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people. No local connection required. Must be willing to work as a volunteer 40 hours a week and sign off income support benefits. Must be eligible to claim housing benefit. Minimum support needs preferred. Couples considered.
Who we cannot help
Each referral received is considered on an individual basis taking the needs of the applicant and the community into consideration

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Support and accommodation
Full time staff on-site Mon -Sat 9am-5pm, emergency on-call system. Keywork system with monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide support around independent living skills, finance and access to education and training.

There is no charge to residents for the accommodation.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must participate in weekly community meetings and support sessions. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Licence agreement.
Until 9-pm by prior agreement and register visit in visitors book.
Gloucester - 1.5 miles from community house.
Volunteering roles are usually shop support, sorting donations, van driving, driver's mate, and helping on our outreach soup kitchen. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01452 413095 extension 5 for further information.
