Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single men and women aged between 16 - 65 who are homeless or about to become homeless. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals or referrals from any agency. Will accept referrals direct from prison and can arrange telephone interviews (face to face interview may still be required).
Phone Mon-Fri 8.30am-6pm for an application form, or download from website, which must be completed before interview. May require some background information eg probation or psychiatric reports. Assessment of priority need when vacancy arises.

Support and accommodation
24 hour staff cover in Women's Complex Needs accommodation, specialist complex needs worker complements existing staff at the Vulnerable Women?s Project. Medium term houses staffed Mon-Fri 8.30am-6pm, Sat 8am-11am with emergency on-call system. Keywork system, with weekly meetings. Staff provide help with housing applications, benefits, social skills and living skills, including cooking and budgeting. Staff work with specialist drug, alcohol and mental health workers where appropriate.

£12-£23pw required from residents receiving benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must attend keywork meetings. Smoking in own room only. Alcohol may be allowed in own room depending on property. Assured shorthold tenancy or licence agreement.
Train and bus station - 30 minutes walk.
