Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-24 with a range of support needs. All applicants must have a local connection to Oldham.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions.

- Maximum age accepted: 24
How to get a referral
Only accept referrals from Access Oldham
Referrals to be made via the Homeless Team at Oldham Civic Centre. The minimum information referrals to a local authority must include: The applicant's name, Applicants contact details, The reason for the referral e.g. what has made them homeless.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 18 months
Support and accommodation
24 hour waking cover. key worker system with weekly meetings. Monthly multi-agency meetings. Staff provide support around developing independent living skills.
Rooms and charges
£18.50pw required from residents receiving benefits.
- Total spaces: 32
- Furnishings: Flats fully furnished.

- Disabled facilities: 1 flat could be adapted for a wheelchair user.
- Other facilities: Lounge, communal kitchen, garden.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own rooms and garden only. Licence agreement.
Between 9am-10.30pm. Up to 2 visitors at a time, none aged under 16, all must have photo ID.
Oldham train station - 5 mins walk. Buses 82, 83 from Manchester - bus stop 1 min walk.
Currently have 1 volunteer gardener. Range of volunteering opportunities. Contact project for volunteer pack.
