Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young people aged 16-21 who are homeless and have high support needs. Must have a local connection to Manchester. Can accept young people with multiple needs and those who are under curfew and/or tagged.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions.

Referrals accepted from City Centre Project. Referrals accepted from Banardos if the person is under 18 and leaving care.

Call City Centre Project Mon to Fri 9-5pm on 0161 228 7654.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 2 months
- Maximum stay: 6 months
Support and accommodation
Support offered
5 full time staff plus volunteers, including waking night staff. Support session system (3 residents per worker), with compulsory weekly-fortnightly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, devised in consultation with service user and external agencies, reviewed every 6 weeks. Staff offer support around housing, budgeting, benefits, independent living, resettlement, and substance misuse.

- Furnishings: Rooms fully furnished, with washbasins, desk chair showers and fridges.

- Disabled facilities: We have wheelchair access to the building, but none to rooms and showers.
- Other facilities: Garden, kitchen, living room and shared bathroom, with a bath.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Compulsory support sessions. Written house rules. No substance misuse, no alcohol in communal areas. Smoking in own room only. Licence agreement.
Visitors
Between 10am and 10pm in residents' rooms only. No overnight guests.

Volunteering
