Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 1 month
  • Maximum stay: 6 months

Support and accommodation

Support offered

5 full time staff plus volunteers, including waking night staff. Support session system (3 residents per worker), with compulsory weekly/fortnightly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, devised in consultation with service user and external agencies, reviewed every 6 weeks. Staff offer support around housing, budgeting, benefits, independent living, resettlement, and substance misuse.

£7.30pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

  • Furnishings: Rooms fully furnished, with washbasins and fridges.

  • Disabled facilities: Wheelchair access to the building, but none to rooms and showers.
  • Other facilities: Garden, kitchen, living room and shared bathroom, with a bath. Shared showers.

Rules and policies

House rules and tenure

Compulsory Support sessions. No Substance misuse. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Licence agreement.

Visitors

In residents' rooms, 11am-9pm Mon-Thu, noon-10.30pm Fri-Sat, noon-9pm Sun. No overnight guests.

Volunteering
