Who do we help?
Single homeless people aged 16 and over. No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
Those under influence of drugs/alcohol at time of referral or with unmanageable risks.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Many come from Social Services, Probation, Youth Justice Team and a wide range of voluntary agencies.
NB - the address above and first telephone number are for North of the Tyne referrals. South of the Tyne referrals: St Mary's Centre, Whitehead Street, South Shields NL33 5LZ and second telephone number. Phone or call in Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Require background information, particularly around criminal record, substance use and medical history.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 10 nights
Support and accommodation
During the week residents are expected to have follow-up appointments at the agency which referred them or with other agencies. Project staff offer advice on finding longer term accommodation.

There is no charge for the accommodation.
