Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Rough sleepers and those with specialist needs, including substance abuse. Specialist centres for vulnerable women and those with high dependency needs. We have a centre that accommodates dogs.
Who we cannot help
Those with a ban from Crisis at Christmas that applies to this year.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Minibuses pick up potential residents from central London.
Drop in at one of 4 day centres: North London Day Centre (221 Gray's Inn Road, WC1X 8RA); South London Day Centre (City of London Academy, Lynton Road, SE1 5LA); East London Day Centre (The City Academy, Homerton Row, Hackney E9 6EA); West London Day Centre (Kensington Aldridge Academy, 1 Silchester Road, W10 6EX)
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: 7 nights
Support and accommodation
Over 10000 volunteers, around 100+ on each shift across all centres. Services include housing advice, health care, employment and training advice, optician, chiropody and dentistry. There are also internet cafes, libraries, TV lounge, arts and crafts and entertainment, wellbeing & pampering.
Rooms and charges
There is no charge for the accommodation.

- Furnishings: Camp beds in open plan sleeping areas. Access to showers.

- Disabled facilities: All centres are accessible for wheelchair users. Please contact for details.
- Other facilities: Entertainments, IT Suits, Sports facilities, Hairdressing facilities, Showers, Outdoor areas, Luggage store.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
No Alcohol, drugs, smoking, violence, weapons, dogs (however there is space at 1 Residential Centre for guests with dogs). All centres are dry centres except 1.
