Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

People who are homeless or at risk of homeless who have drug and alcohol problems. Must have a local connection to Wandsworth. Can take clients on scripts.

Who we cannot help

People with a history of violence. Arsonists. Sex offenders.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Kim Lawrence at Wandsworth Housing Advice.

Referral procedure

Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Assessment interview. Require PSR, MG16, psychiatric reports if applicable. With applicant's consent, may request information from agencies/hostels they have previously been in contact with.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 6 months
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

3 staff based on-site 24 hour cover, emergency on-call system. Must attend weekly keywork sessions in the first 8 weeks and attend community groups once a week. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Peer support groups, life skills workshops and seminars, including relapse prevention. Optional individual counselling. Training for independent living.

House rules and tenure

Must attend house meetings and structured activities. No drug or alcohol use allowed. Smoking allowed in garden. Licence agreement.

Can stay overnight if space available and with staff permission, Fri and Sat.
