Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single homeless people aged 18-24 who need support to develop their training, education or employment options and independent living skills. Must have a 6 month connection to LB Enfield.

Who we cannot help

People with high support needs that cannot be met by the project. Those with unaddressed drug/alcohol problems.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

We accept self-referrals. Enfield Local Authority Housing Department.

Referral procedure

Young people who approach the Local Authority Housing department (John Wilkes House) will signposted to make contact directly to for an aassessment interview. Additional information may be needed prior to interview.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 6 months
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

4 full time staff available 8am-10pm, concierge service after hours. Key-work system (12 residents per support worker), fortnightly-monthly key-work meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 months. Training and employment coordinator develops individual action plans to address residents' vocational training, education and job search needs.

£12.62 pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

  • Disabled facilities: Three studios are fully wheelchair accessible. Visual alarms in all rooms.

Alcohol and smoking not allowed in communal areas. Must work to agreed action plan and attend workshops and residents' meetings. Licence agreement.
