Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless women with low support needs, including those with mental health problems, people with substance misuse issues, ex-offenders and people with learning difficulties.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions.

How to get a referral
Referrals primarily come via Newcastle Gateway. Some internal transfers are made between other Cyrenians accommodation services. Women's services also have the ability to hold a bed open for women due to be released from prison.
Newcastle Gateway referrals must present as homeless at the Housing Advice Centre and be referred electronically. Interview.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
Staff available 24 hour hours at nearby Francis House. Staff visit Roycroft daily and at midnight. Keywork system (6 residents per keyworker), weekly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly. Provide support with living skills, healthy living, social and emotional wellbeing, and accessing employment and training.

£7.95pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
No alcohol allowed in communal areas. Smoking allowed in own room only. Licence agreement.
Between 9am-4pm Mon-Fri. No male guests. No overnight guests.
Newcastle train station - 5 minutes walk.
Currently 1 volunteer. Need volunteers to run activities eg crafts, cookery. Phone Head Office on 0191 273 8891 for further information.
