Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless women with medium-high support needs, including ex-offenders and women with alcohol and/or drug issues. Priority given to those with a local connection to Newcastle upon Tyne.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 3-6 Months
  • Maximum stay: 2 Years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

2 full time staff on-site Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat & Sun 10am-4pm. Night worker provides waking cover 7pm-6am daily. Emergency on-call system. Compulsory keywork system (6 residents per worker), meetings at least weekly. Support plans and Outcomes Star agreed with key worker and external agencies, reviewed every 3 months. Support around budgeting, forms, living skills, employment and training.
