Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young single people aged 16-25 with low support needs who are homeless or in housing need. Also accept young pregnant women and single parents with children. Must have a local connection to Hertsmere Borough Council area.

Who we cannot help

History of arson, violence or sex offence. Chemically dependent individuals. History of arson. Needs too high for the project.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Only accept referrals from Hertsmere Borough Council Homeless Persons Unit.

Referral procedure

Phone call to Hertsmere Council, homeless team- Mon-Thurs 9am-5.15pm, Fri 9am-5pm for appointment to fill in a referral form for the LOTS scheme, Interview with LOTS staff to be held at the council office. Will Need proof of income,ID, eg passport, driving licence, birth certificate.

Support and accommodation


Support offered

2 staff members visit residents weekly for support sessions, staff will also be on site for once a month health and safety checks and once a week for Fire alarm checks. there is an emergency repair on-call system, which is not managed by the LOTS team. support provided, Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 3 months by the manager and on going with your floating support worker. Staff provide support around tenancy management, budgeting, benefits, cooking, health and safety, and access to education, training and employment.

we have 8 buildings, 4 are parent units , this will house one family per unit and the other 4 units are for single people and this will house 2 single people per property.
