Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people with complex needs, including those with substance misuse issues, mental health problems and an offending history. Must have a local connection to Brighton and Hove. Target 30% women.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Only accept referrals from Brighton and Hove Council, Rough Sleepers Street Services Team and Mental Health Team.
Referral procedure
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Application form and risk assessment completed by referral agency. Interview. Must be receiving or eligible for benefits.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 4 weeks
- Maximum stay: 9 months
Support and accommodation
Support offered
18 full time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system (6 residents per worker), weekly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed quarterly or on request. Plans cover health and wellbeing, addiction, education and employment, life skills, legal issues and resettlement. Work and learning opportunities on site via partnership working with local agencies and Brighton City College.

Compulsory programme of support. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Licence agreement.
Visitors
Only residents in pre-tenancy flats are allowed visitors, between 9am-10pm. Can stay overnight.
