Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless men and women and rough sleepers. We accept people with mental health, substance and alcohol misuse support needs. Priority is given to people with a LB Waltham Forest connection but also accept referrals from neighbouring boroughs – Enfield, Redbridge, Newham, Hackney, Haringey.
Who we cannot help
People with a history of child sex offences. People with a history of arson.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Priority given to referrals from London Street Rescue, Waltham Forest Homeless and Housing Services. Also accept referrals from any agency working with homeless people or rough sleepers.
Referral procedure
Email referrals@wfcbranches.org.uk or phone 8am-6pm. Application form to be completed by applicant (with support of referring agency). Initial interview. Require proof of identification, for example, passport, benefits letter. Applicant must be eligible for housing benefit.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 24 months
Support and accommodation
Support offered
Support and Resettlement Team 8am to 8pm. 12 hour waking night concierge. Compulsory key-work with meetings at least weekly in the first 3 months. clients required to commit to working with Support Team; and agree Action Plans for moving forward. Staff assess individuals’ needs, provide support and make referrals to relevant agencies e.g. health services and meaningful occupation opportunities.

A dry hostel - no alcohol on he premises. Smoking allowed only in designated external areas. Licence agreement.

Volunteering
We are developing our volunteer offer. Application Form is on-line via our website; or telephone/ call in for an Application Form. Looking for people with an interest in music; or cooking (to run basic classes); gardening; 'befrienders' – people to accompany individuals to appointments.
