Single homeless men with support needs. Local connection preferred.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists, sex offenders or those with a history of violence.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency. Many referrals come from Housing Needs, local hospitals, Drug and Alcohol services.
Phone Mon-Fri 8am-4pm to arrange an interview. Require proof of ID, eg driving licence, passport, DWP letter with NI number.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 month
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
9 full time and 2 part time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Compulsory keywork system (17-20 residents per key worker), monthly-quarterly keywork meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly-quarterly. Staff provide support with independent living skills, claiming benefits and any other concerns.
Rooms and charges
£35pw required from residents in receipt of benefits. £10 weekly personal charge if not eating in the hostel.

House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. No alcohol, drug taking or smoking allowed on the premises. Licence agreement.
Between 9am-4pm Mon-Fri, weekend by appointment in ground floor communal areas. No overnight guests.
Blackburn train and bus stations - 5 minutes walk.
