Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young South Asian, Turkish and Iranian (Middle Eastern)women aged 16-35 with low to medium support needs and who are in housing need. 2 forced marriage schemes: 1 x 5 bed and 1 x 8 bed (ages 16-25), also a domestic violence project (8 bed spaces). No local connection required.
Who we cannot help
Women with children. Those who require 24 hour care and supervision from the project. Those with a history of or currently dependent on drugs or alcohol.

How to get a referral
Referral agencies
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Referral procedure
Initial contact by phone Mon-Fri 9.30am-5pm. Need to speak to applicant as well as agency. If there is a vacancy and applicant meets referral criteria, place offered immediately. Referral form completed on phone.

Support and accommodation
Support offered
3 staff on site Mon-Fri 9.30am-5pm. Keywork system, weekly meetings. Care plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Provide short term/crisis counselling, advice on benefits, health care, education, employment, applications for rehousing and accessing legal advice. Workshops covering sexuality, domestic violence etc.

House rules and tenure
Must attend keywork sessions, house meetings and workshops and agree to abide by confidentiality policy. No smoking allowed. Licence agreement.
