Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless people requiring a low-medium level of support. Mixed hostel: aged 16 and over. Men's and women's hostels: aged 16-25. Priority given to applicants with a local connection to Bedfordshire.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Individuals with a history of offending behaviour will be risk assessed.

How to get a referral
All Amicus Trust projects accept self-referrals and referrals from any agency.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Application form completed prior to interview by applicant and referring agency. Carry out some background checks. References taken up.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
30 full and part time staff available daily 8am-10pm, emergency on-call system. Keyworker system, with weekly meetings. Staff provide assistance with completing forms, benefits claims, independent living skills, emotional support and referrals to outside agencies. Specialist education and employment support team.

- Disabled facilities: 1 wheelchair user can be accommodated in a mixed hostel.
Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in own rooms and garden only. Licence agreement.
Generally between 10am-10.30pm. No overnight guests.
Bus and train stations - 20 minutes walk.
