Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Single homeless people aged 25 or over. May occasionally accept people aged 18+ if they have additional support in place. Can accept people with addiction, offending and mental health issues. Can accept couples. Can accept restricted number of people with pets. Local connection prioritised.

Who we cannot help

No automatic exclusions.

How to get a referral

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

Phone daily 9am-8.30pm - may accept referrals later in emergency. Applicant/agency completes referral form prior to interview. Require proof of ID and background information about history of homelessness, offences, etc. If referring offenders or people with substance misuse issues a referring agency risk assessment may be required.

Length of stay

  • Minimum stay: 4 weeks
  • Maximum stay: 2 years

Support and accommodation

Support offered

14 support staff available at office 8.30am-9pm, office staffed until 12.30am. Emergency on-call system. Staff provide advice and support around benefits, resettlement, independent living skills and social skills.

Rooms and charges

£13.65pw required from residents receiving benefits. £34.31pw for first 4 weeks from new inductees receiving half board.

House rules and tenure

One house is "dry" with no alcohol allowed. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Daily Licence, may be considered for Shorthold Tenancy once criteria met. Also offer Daily Working Licence.


Residents responsible for visitors. Overnight guests with permission. 1 house allows no visitors.
