Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-25 with support needs, including care leavers. Can accommodate 2 single parents with children. Priority given to applicants with a local connection to the North Herts area.
Who we cannot help
Arsonists, sex offenders. Those with support needs which cannot be met by the project.

How to get a referral
Accept referrals from any agency. Most referrals via North Herts District Council Housing Needs Department.
Phone Mon-Fri 9am-5pm for referral form. Interview and risk assessment.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
2 full time and 6 part time staff on-site Mon-Fri 10am-8pm at Sun Street; Jubilee House has almost 24/7 cover. Keywork system, weekly-monthly meetings. 3 month reviews. Staff help with independent living skills, budgeting, dealing with conflict, sustaining a tenancy, and help with access to education, training and employment.

£15.26 -17.88 pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 7 rooms in Jubilee House and 3 at Sun Street are accessible to wheelchair users.

House rules and tenure
Must engage with support offered. No alcohol or drugs allowed on premises. Both schemes are no smoking schemes. Licence agreement or assured shorthold tenancy.
2 per resident 8am-11pm. One guest can stay overnight twice a week.
Hitchin and Baldock train stations nearby.
