Young people at risk aged 16-25 with support needs. Can also accommodate 1 single parent with children under 12 months old. Must have a local connection to the area.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.
Phone, call in Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm or write. Application form completed by referral agency and applicant prior to interview. Require proof of ID, eg passport, driving licence, birth certificate, and supporting information. Applicants must be on the Housing Register at St Albans District Council.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 18 months
Support and accommodation
3 part time staff on-site, on-call out of hours cover. Keywork system, minimum monthly meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide support around independent living skills, budgeting, benefits, access to education, training and employment, and tenancy management.
Rooms and charges
£4.37pw approx required from residents receiving benefits. Residents pay for their own gas and electricity via card meter.

House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. No smoking allowed on premises. Assured shorthold tenancy.
Until 11pm. Overnight guests maximum 3 nights per week with staff permission.
City centre - 15 mins walk. St Albans train station - 20 mins walk. Buses - 5 mins walk.
