Who is the project for?

Who do we help?

Young homeless people from aged 16-21 from all of Hampshire, as prioritised under the tender by the Placement Team. If under the age of 16 the minimum stay is 2 years.

Who we cannot help

Arsonists, sex offenders where there are age restrictions.

Supported Housing Panel application completed by referral agency prior to interview and sent through to Test Valley Borough Council. Forms available from Test Valley District Council.

Support and accommodation

Support offered

Waking nights are by prior arrangement, staff cover 24/7, currently 25 beds, 1 E&A Bed and one bed on the framework. Managed by myself, 1 Senior (1 to be appointed) 4 x 37.5 hours and 5 P/T plus relief Key working covering mental, emotional health, substance misuse, offending, budgeting, living skills, LD and physical well being education and employment, which we signpost to outside agencies and to our advice and drop in centre, The Junction.

  • Furnishings: Rooms fully furnished Sarum House ensuite, Oasis House shared bathrooms.

  • Other facilities: IT cafe with training, garden.

House rules and tenure

License Agreement: no substance use, alcohol and no smoking. Key working and Home Money Lite course are all required as part of the Agreement.

Visitors are allowed between 9am and 10.30 pm.
