Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Single homeless women with low to medium support needs, including substance misuse, domestic violence, mental health problems. Priority given to applicants with a local connection (unless escaping domestic violence).
Who we cannot help
People with identified risks who cannot be managed within the scheme , eg those who have ongoing violent behaviour, pose a risk to others or have high support needs.

How to get a referral
Accept referrals from any agency. Most referrals come from Homeless Welfare and Housing Advice services.
Agency referrals only. Applications via gateway scheme, completed by referral agency prior to interview. Need proof of identity, eg birth certificate, national insurance number. Risk assessment from agency required.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 1 year
Support and accommodation
6 full time and 2 part time staff. 24 hour cover. Compulsory keywork system (6-7 residents per worker), weekly meetings. Support plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed every 6 weeks. Keywork covers practical skills, money, health/hygiene, personal issues, housing.
Rooms and charges
£7.70pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 1 room, shower room and adapted kitchen accessible to people using wheelchairs.

House rules and tenure
Compulsory keywork meetings. No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking in own room only. Licence agreement.
