Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless people aged 16-25.
Who we cannot help
People behaving violently, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or solvents at time of referral. People unable to cope with the low level of support provided. People with previous serious or sexual offence history.
- Minimum age accepted: 16
- Maximum age accepted: 25
How to get a referral
Accept referrals from approved agencies only - contact for details.
Phone Mon-Fri 10am-3pm. Application form completed by prospective resident and agency. Require background information about offending history and risk issues.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 1 night
- Maximum stay: Varies
Support and accommodation
On-call member of staff supports young people/volunteers during overnight stay. Young people may return to their referring agency during the day for support with benefits, referrals to other agencies and finding longer term accommodation. Nightstop may be able to help out with transport, getting young people to appointments etc.
Rooms and charges
There is no charge for the accommodation.

Young people are required to sign a boundaries agreement as part of the referral process, prior to their stay.
Transport provided to and from host's home.
