Who is the project for?
Who do we help?
Young single homeless black women aged 16-25 with low-medium support needs. Must have a local connection to LB Haringey. Priority to those who have been in local authority care.
Who we cannot help
Those with drug or alcohol problems. Those with a history of serious violence.

How to get a referral
Accept referrals from agencies on approved referral agencies list. Agencies can write to request to be added to list.
Agencies are notified each time there is a vacancy. Referral form completed by agency and applicant. Interview.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 6 months
- Maximum stay: 2 years
Support and accommodation
2 full time and 1 part time staff visit houses weekly. Compulsory keywork system. Initially meet residents once a week then fortnightly. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff offer one to one support on all aspects of life skills, budgeting, training, education and employment. Staff make referrals to external agencies as appropriate.

Approx £11.50pw required from residents receiving benefits.

House rules and tenure
Must participate in programme of support. Alcohol not allowed on the premises. Smoking not allowed in communal areas. Assured shorthold tenancy.
No overnight guests.
Dalston Kingsland train station - 10 mins walk. Buses 67, 76, 149, 243 - 3 mins walk.
