Homeless people with medium to high support needs. Priority given to applicants with a local connection to Darlington.
Who we cannot help
No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

How to get a referral
Only accept referrals from Key Point of Access and 1st Stop.
Phone daily 24 hours or write. Interview and application form. Require background information about current situation and proof of ID.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3 months
- Maximum stay: 1 year
Support and accommodation
6 staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system (maximum 3 residents per worker), meetings at least weekly. Action plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff provide assistance with forms, budgeting and tenancy maintenance, and signpost residents to external agencies where appropriate.
Rooms and charges
£13.50pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

- Disabled facilities: 1 bed space is fully accessible to wheelchair users. Grab rails.

House rules and tenure
Compulsory programme of support. No alcohol in communal areas. Smoking allowed in own rooms only. Written house rules. Assured shorthold tenancy.
Visitors aged 16+ from 9am-11pm, under 16 9am-6pm. No overnight guests.
North Road bus stops - 2 minutes walk.
