How to get a referral
Only accept referrals via First Stop Darlington or Darlington Council.
Phone daily 8am-10pm to arrange interview. Application form and risk assessment completed at interview. Require proof of ID. May require further information after risk assessment.
Length of stay
- Minimum stay: 3-4 weeks
- Maximum stay: 1 year
Support and accommodation
7 full time staff, 24 hour waking cover. Keywork system (5 residents per worker), compulsory keywork meetings two weeks after arrival, then monthly. Care plans with agreed outcomes, reviewed monthly. Staff give advice on benefits, training and job search.

£13.50pw required from residents in receipt of benefits.

Rules and policies
House rules and tenure
Compulsory care plan reviews. No alcohol or smoking allowed in communal areas. Licence agreement.
Up to 10.30pm. Visitors required to produce ID. No overnight guests.
Darlington train and bus stations - 10 minutes walk.
