We provide practical training that improves the way individuals and services work

Our training courses are based on the latest reseach, policy and legislation. As a membership body for over 500 homelessness services, we are uniquely placed to understand current issues within the sector. Our training gives you the skills needed to tackle emerging issues and achieve service improvement.

Our training offers a flexible approach to suit your needs. You can train a whole staff
team in-house, or attend our public courses as a small group or individually.

train your team

In-house training enables you to build a team approach around particular work areas. It is a cost effective way to train a large group of up to 16 staff. The training is held at a time and place convenient to you and we’ll work with you to ensure the training suits the culture and demands of the work that you do.

Public courses 

Our public courses give you the opportunity to network with peers, share ideas and practice new ways of working. By attending these courses you will pick up important skills and materials that will improve your performance in the workplace.
