London Housing strategy commits to tackling move-on for homeless
Homeless Link today (20 July 2005) welcomed the commitment in the new London Housing Strategy to tackle the long standing problem of lack of settled homes for thousands of homeless people in the capital’s hostels.
Government strengthens commitment on homelessness
The ODPM today (14 March 2005) launched its five-year homelessness strategy which takes up many of the points raised in Homeless Link's manifesto and recognises that "homelessness has no place in a sustainable community, and our aim should be to eradicate it."
General election campaign toolkit
Homeless Link has designed a toolkit to help frontline homelessness agencies take part locally in the general election campaign.
Homeless Link 10-point manifesto
On 22 February Homeless Link launched a 10-point manifesto aimed at parliamentary candidates and the political parties in the run up to a General Election. The manifesto asks the next government to commit to the goal of ending homelessness.
