Library services for homeless people

November 2005

London's public libraries are interested in developing or improving services for homeless people and people in short term accommodation.

The London Libraries Development Agency are keen to work with organisations to develop user-designed services that offer books and reading support at all levels and basic skills for homeless people, and to improve quality of service and library staff awareness of homeless people's needs.

Initially they want to identify what needs there might be and scope a possible pilot project.
