Adapted from PQASSO (Practical Quality Assurance System for Smaller Organisations) by Charities Evaluation Service, the Quality Toolkit offers a flexible framework for helping homelessness agencies achieve a more rigorous approach to managing and delivering their services.
This self assessment tool clearly oulines the steps needed to work towards excellence across the organisation.
In addition to the core quality areas, the evidence-based manual includes a number of homelessness service-specific areas, such as day centres, street outreach, accommodation services and pre-tenancy and tenancy support.

Homeless Link 2002
This collection of articles highlight some of the innovative solutions developed by agencies working with people with multiple needs and draws out lessons for managers and frontile staff. The research report, based on a questionnaire survey of Homeless Link members, shows current weaknesses in access to services.
The briefing shows what can be done by statutory and voluntary agencies to help vulnerable individuals with multiple needs.

Tackling TB
An information pack for staff and volunteers working with homeless people.
Homeless Link has collaborated with Crisis to produce a detailed training pack on TB and homelessness. This leaflet is designed to reduce misconception of the disease, highlight why homeless people are more vulnerable to TB and what can be done to support individuals believed to have or who have been diagnosed with TB.

Sharing solutions: working with A8 Nationals
With the expansion of the EU, it's important for a wide range of service providers to know the rights, entitlements and needs of migrants from the eight Eastern and Central European Accessin countries. This publication outlines the rules for working in the UK and benefit entitlments for A8 nationals, and explores the situation new arrivals find themselves in, from lack of referral routes to lack of knowledge of entitlements.
