AIRE Centre
The Advice on Individual Rights in Europe (AIRE) Centre is a London-based charity providing free legal advice and services for low-income and otherwise vulnerable and marginalised individuals on their rights under European law, including EU free movement law
The AIRE Centre frequently advises other voluntary-sector organisations to help them assist their clients and is concerned about the numbers of European Economic Area nationals sleeping rough in the UK and the confusion that often surrounds their entitlement to access homeless services. If your organisation has a query about a client who is an EEA national or the family member of an EEA national, feel free to contact the AIRE Centre. The AIRE Centre’s expertise is in areas of European law, so they may not be able to assist with all aspects of your query, but if there are questions that they cannot deal with, they will endeavour to find appropriate, free legal assistance for you on those matters. You can ring the AIRE Centre’s advice line on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2-5pm, on 020 7831 3850. If the matter is more urgent you can ring 020 7831 3850. You can also send an e-mail directly to the contact person at AIRE, Adam Weiss: aweiss@airecentre.org.
