SNAP
Survey of Needs and Provision (SNAP) - Early in 2008 we published our Survey of Needs and Provision a joint research project between Homeless Link and RIS that maps services for homeless people without dependants. This includes data on the number of services in England, who they work with and the support that they offer. SNAP is being repeated for 2009 and will be published early in the new year.

Impact of homelessness
It is often difficult to disentangle the support needs that people develop as a result of homelessness from issues that made them vulnerable to homelessness in the first place. However, many studies have shown a correlation between several aspects of social exclusion/vulnerability and homelessness. The impact of homelessness section outlines some of the issues associated with homelessness in terms of education, employment and health.
Costs of homelessness
It is often difficult to quantify the impact of homelessness services, especially in financial terms. However, the costs of homelessness section outlines a number of studies in recent years that have aimed to cost the impact of homelessnes to illustrate the potential financial benefits of homelessness prevention and intervention.
