The Department for Communities and Local Government has published a new research report (July 2006), which aims to put the link between exclusion and frequent moving on the policy map and begin a debate about how services might best respond to those who are mobile.

This suggests that the government clearly identifies frequent movement as an area of social disadvantage and takes steps to build this into its thinking on the role of local government and to improved data collection.
