making welfare reform work for homeless people

Taking place only one day after the DWP launched their green paper on welfare benefit reforms, Ways to work examined how the proposed reforms would impact on homeless people.

99% of people living in hostels are currently out of work. Ways to work showcased and explored ways in which we can effectively turn this around?

Over 100 people attended Ways to work, including a number of service users. 92% of those delegates, who completed evaluation forms, rated the conference as “excellent” or “very good”.
