A dynamic and creative Chief Executive is required to take the helm and lead a well-respected and growing homelessness charity in Woking, Surrey. York Road Project (YRP) was established in 2001 by individuals from local churches, starting with a night shelter. - 20 beds in five ‘move on’ properties
- The Prop Day Centre
- Outreach team
- Indigo Mental Health Support Project
YRP works with over 300 individuals each year and is recognised for the excellenct support provided to clients. With an ethos rooted in Christian belief, the project continues to work with those in need regardless of their situation.
The Chief Executive is responsible for delivering and developing our vision and building on the growth the organisation has already seen. They will add strategic leadership and support to the staff team of 21 and the Board of Trustees. We are looking for someone with a passion for social justice, with excellent organisational and communication to influence a variety of stakeholders; sound understanding of financial matters; and who can see the big picture as well as having an attention to detail. They will lead by example and be committed to support both staff and clients to reach their full potential. They will represent the organisation to influence policy and opinion for the benefit of those experiencing homelessness.
This is an exciting role for an ambitious and tenacious individual who wants to shape the future development of the organisation and to make a big difference to the lives of individuals without accommodation in Woking and the surrounding areas.
