- Certificate in Grantsmanship Level 3 - fundraising training for community leaders and volunteers. Available online throughout 2006 through Fundraising Skills.

Resources
- North East AID - North East Accommodation & Information Database has been developed by Shelter, Centrepoint and HANE. It is a directory of the North East's accommodation and support services for homeless and badly housed people. The database is currently available to purchase for £10 (see order form) but the long term aim is to have it available for everyone on a website.
Funding & Awards
- Camelot Foundation - Transforming Lives - funding for innovative projects around the UK which seek to reconnect disadvantaged and marginalised young people aged 11 - 25 to the mainstream. Closing date for applications is 18 January 2006.
- Daphne II (European Commission) - funding to combat violence against children, young people and women. Closing date for applications is 10 February 2006.
- Hedley Foundation - charitable foundation which supports young people (currently 60% of budget), the disabled and the terminally ill. Grants of up to £15,000 but average around £3000.
- Nationwide Foundation - is currently seeking expression of interest from national charities for funding to develop initiatives under the Foundations Supporting Families programme.
- Parenting Fund for 2006-8 - promoting social inclusion and improving access to services and support for less well-served communities will remain a cornerstone of the fund. Grants from £50,000 upwards.
