Ben Dickenson

Ben Dickenson is the Regional Manager for the North East.

Ben sports trophy blisters picked up on a winding path of employment and endeavour. Between 1997 and 2002 he explored the fields of community arts, youth work, project management, youth participation and publishing. Working for organisations including the NSPCC, Save the Children, the Participation Education Group and The East London Citizenship Development Project.

Over the following three years he developed a nationally award winning model of service user involvement with young homeless people, based at INLINE Newcastle.

After a brief spell in the wild territory that is commercial radio, and following some journalist exploits concerned with Hollywood movies, Ben is back in the far more civilised world of homelessness. He works across Tyne and Wear, Durham, Northumberland and Teeside for Homeless Link.
