London Skills and Employment Board is responsible for the long-term strategy for London's adult skills and employment. It is responsible for strategic direction of the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) budget in London. In 2007/08 the London Skills and Employment Board is developing a strategy for adult skills and employment in London.

The London Skills and Employment Board is employer-led and chaired by the Mayor of London.

The Board hopes to publish their final strategy in May 2008. The London Approach outlines how the strategy will be developed.

A consultation on the draft strategy was held in 2007/08. Homeless Link submitted a response to this. All consultation responses are now available by registering online.

Homeless Link produced a summary of the evidence base for the development of the draft strategy.
